The obverse of this groundbreaking coin features a collaborative design by the Chief Engravers of the United States Mint, Joseph Menna, and The Royal Mint, Gordon Summers—making it the first of its kind created by the Chief Engravers of two of the world’s largest mints.
For the first time, Lady Liberty and Britannia appear together on a coin, symbolizing the longstanding relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom. The reverse design complements the obverse, also crafted by the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.
This collectible coin is sculpted in high relief and made of 24K gold, enhancing the significance of its designs.
