2023 American Innovation $1 Coin Proof Set Designs:

• Common Obverse: A dramatic profile of the Statue of Liberty, featuring the inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “$1.” Designed by Justin Kunz, it includes a stylized gear as a privy mark, symbolizing industry and innovation. Edge-incused inscriptions read “2023,” the “S” mint mark, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
• Ohio: Features two hands clasped together, representing the support and strength needed for the Underground Railroad. A broken chain around the wrist symbolizes the hope of freedom.
