The 2024 American Women Quarters Silver Proof Set™ features all five quarters of 2024, elegantly packaged in a protective lens that showcases their distinct proof finish. This annual release is part of a four-year series celebrating the accomplishments of women who have significantly influenced our nation’s history and paved the way for future generations.
From 2022 to 2025, the U.S. Mint is issuing five new quarters each year, each showcasing reverse designs honoring prominent American women. Each coin features a common obverse design depicting a portrait of George Washington, originally sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser for the 1932 quarter commemorating Washington’s bicentennial. This design includes the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2024.”
The reverse designs honor a diverse group of notable American women who made impactful contributions across various fields, including suffrage, civil rights, government, humanities, science, space, and the arts. The women celebrated are ethnically, racially, and geographically diverse.
